Licensing & Compliance: Our Official USDA Certification
At Pura Sanguine, the health, safety, and ethical care of every animal in our facility is our highest priority. We maintain a rigorous standard of transparency and operate in strict compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
As part of our commitment to excellence, Pura Sanguine is a fully bonded and registered facility holding an official USDA Class B License under the Animal Welfare Act (AWA).
What is a USDA Class B License?
Administered by the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), a Class B license is issued only to facilities that meet stringent federal criteria for animal housing, veterinary care, handling, and record-keeping. Holding this license means our facility is subject to unannounced routine inspections by federal veterinary medical officers to ensure the highest standards of animal welfare are consistently met.
